MEET SARAH

Sarah Warnaar is a mentor, artist and women’s work facilitator who supports women in embodying their sensuality, opening their hearts in relationship and creative expression, connecting to their power and awakening their soul path and work

She creates spaces for others to heal conditioned and habitual patterns, re-align with their most expressed self and remember their true essence. Sarah serves as a bridge from the ground-work of trauma, codependency, masculine/feminine work - to archetypal, Tantric, multi-dimensional, polarity and purpose work. As a Priestess of the Rose, walks the path of remembrance of the Feminine Flame and serves the Path of Love.

Born in the North of Holland in a warm family of psychologists, she started traveling as an international model at age eighteen. These eighteen years of travels offered the chance to explore her restless curiosity, travel the world and dive into various cultures and their spiritual practises, yet it also brought confrontation with the superficial ways our society perceives feminine beauty, disembodiment and a hunger for deeper meaning. She moved through years of disordered eating and body dysmorphia till she hit a threshold at age twenty-four through illness called labyrinthitis for which she had to lay in the dark on one ear for two weeks without light and sound. This ignited her devotional path to daring to feel it all, embodied living, the path of the sacred feminine, the power of sisterhood and spiritual awakening - all of which she now shares as medicine with others.

“What else are we here on Earth for than to release the conditioning, awaken our unique expression, walk our authentic, sovereign path?

How else do we do that than by re-claiming our stories - what has happened to us, how it’s made us feel - re-wire our nervous-system and re-trust our body’s wisdom? To turn our aches into art, follow our heart’s call, make space for our feminine power and magnetism to flourish?

This is what wakes the world up from its mind-centred living and spiritual slumber; women with open hearts and connected wombs, offering their deepest longings and emotional-wisdom as artful, soul-shaking, ground-breaking gifts.”

Besides the grounded psychological base of knowledge she was blessed with due to her parents, she felt there was something missing; a yearning for more, deeper truth; home. After discovering meditation, yoga and creativity through poetry and painting, she found her deepest healing and expansion in plant-medicine, dance, breath-work, sisterhood and the re-balancing of the masculine and feminine energies. By combining the rational part of psychology with embodiment and the energetic world, all fell into place. After years of art-making and modelling it was time to share her story and the practises that liberated her with other women.

“There is nothing more essential than integrating embodiment as the core of feminine healing and practise, uniting the mystical with the sexual, living from the truth of our heart, re-balancing the feminine with the masculine on a global level and be held in supportive community and loving, compassionate sisterhood.”

Sarah studied Biodynamic breathwork, energy healing, Shamanism, feminine embodiment and polarity work and is always training to expand her knowledge. She now mentors women through deeply personal 1:1 containers, holds several yearly retreats, runs The Temple Of The Feminine Flame; a global online community that tuns for nine months per year and gathers bi-monthly for women’s circles and embodiment practise. Being of service in this work is her life’s work and deepest pleasure.

She spends her days traveling, creating new portals and programs, doing yoga, HIIT trainings, gardening, singing medicine songs, writing poetry, cooking or in her slightly obsessive tendency to learn all there is to know about secrets of the Universe and magic of the cosmos. She lives in Amsterdam with her cat Minerva and her partner Nic.

A note of gratitude

I’d like to offer my deepest gratitude to my mentors, sisters and brothers who’ve guided me on my path, some with whom I’ve journeyed in the physical, some online. Some are big names and others live in the woods without ever having used IG, yet with teachings that have touched me just the same.

Heart-felt gratitude to my father and mother, Wouter and Barbara, my blood sisters Nienke and Benthe. To Veronika Poola, Ayaruna, John Wineland, Alexandra Roxo, Charles Liburd, Alexander Holmberg, The Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies, Liona Dahlia, Grace Ho, Ishtara Ammuna, Achyntia Devi and all my soul brothers and sisters who walked me home along the way.

“I get it now. I get why the work I’ve gotten to do speaks to so many. We’re hungry. We’re yearning from the depths of our hearts for more. Being more, being wild, being raw and unapologetically all of us. we long so deeply to expand the width and depth of what we can be and offer. What often is expected of us in life, is just a sliver of our potential. Shoved into a corner with words like be nice, don’t be so selfish, get in line, make room for others, dim your light, we are starved of the true spark of life. Our power is intimidating, because when it’s let loose, is starts fires, opens rivers and shakes structures. it creates true change. it’s an honour to get to shed, let go, change, grow and evolve into more of myself with you. I love who I’ve become next to you. Let’s do this.”
